Late this afternoon the Greene County Sheriff’s Department asked for help from the public to locate a  missing teen, 15-year-old Joseph Palmer from rural Linton.

GCSD Det. Shawn Cullison said Joseph was described as being 5’ 10” tall, weight approximately 120 lbs., with a thin build, dark skin tone, and brown eyes with black hair, wearing glasses.

Det. Cullison reported Joseph was believed to have left on foot on Tuesday, June 11, from his home located on North County Road 1330 West. There was no known destination but he did leave his house with camping gear. No clothing description was available.

Around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff’s department reported the teen had been located and was safe.
