ISP troopers seized a couple ounces of meth and arrested an Indianapolis man accused of delivering the meth to a location in eastern Greene County last week. The suspect, in court earlier today, was charged with a Level 2 felony.

Kenneth Leavelle Roulette, Jr., 28, Indianapolis, was arrested by Indiana State Police Trooper Caleb Garvin last Thursday, November 5.

Last Thursday, November 5, an Indiana State Police detective had information that an Indianapolis man was going to be delivering a quantity of methamphetamine to a location on North Tree Farm Road just north of Solsberry that evening.

Trooper Garvin was notified and he and ISP Trooper Ian Portteus arrived at the location around 5 p.m. after a black male driving a dark colored mini van had pulled in to the residence. The suspect was walking from the vehicle toward a wooden shack structure and he turned around, looked at the trooper’s vehicles then when told to stop walking, put his hands in the air.

The suspect was identified as Roulette. He said he didn’t have any weapons or illegal items on his person but during a pat-down, Roulette was allegedly found with a bag in an inside jacket pocket.

Trooper Garvin reported the bag contained a crystal substance that weighed approximately 56 grams. The substance field-tested positive as methamphetamine.

Roulette was booked into the Greene County Jail at 5:59 p.m. last Thursday. He was first held without bond pending a court appearance.

Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw filed a criminal case against Roulette last Friday in Greene Circuit Court.

Earlier today, Roulette appeared before Judge Eric Allen and was formally charged with:

• Dealing in methamphetamine, in an amount of 10 or more grams, a Level 2 felony, and

• Possession of methamphetamine, a Level 3 felony.
