Linton woman accused of second OVWI since August
A Linton woman arrested and accused of OVWI in August was arrested last week and accused of another OVWI. She bonded out of jail but now a warrant has been issued for her arrest for allegedly violating the conditions of her bond after the first arrest.
Kristin Marie Stockrahm, 41, Linton, was arrested by Deputy Michael Stanley of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department last week. She was booked into the Greene County Jail at 12:12 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, following a crash that occurred around 9:48 p.m. on Monday, October 19.
Stockrahm was the driver of a black 2017 Lincoln MKC that was involved in a crash on North County Road 1000 West in the area of County Road 475 North.
Deputy Stanley, the investigating officer, reported Stockrahm showed several signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. She was transported to the Linton Police Department where she agreed to take a certified chemical test. Deputy Stanley said results showed she had a blood alcohol concentration equivalent to .15. The legal limit is .08.
Stockrahm was then transported to jail where her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $400 and was released.
A criminal case was filed against Stockrahm last Thursday.
She is facing preliminary charges of:
Operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, a Class A misdemeanor,
Operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor, and
Operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to .15 or more, a Class A misdemeanor.
She is scheduled to appear in Greene Superior Court in the morning, Tuesday, October 27, for an initial hearing, but in addition to the new case, a warrant is out for her arrest.
Stockrahm was arrested in mid-August in Linton and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. In that case, her BAC was allegedly .243.
In that earlier case, she entered into a negotiated plea agreement that was filed in the court on September 1. A change of plea hearing was scheduled for November 4, but last Friday, October 23, after the latest incident, a warrant was issued for her arrest on a petition to revoke bond for allegedly violating a condition of her bond.
