Linton woman accused of auto theft arrested over the weekend
A Linton woman accused of stealing another woman’s car was taken into custody over the weekend after a warrant was issued for her arrest last week.
Angel Ray Dawn Walls, 33, was arrested by Reserve Officer Dalton Ewers of the Linton Police Department and booked in around 8 p.m. Saturday.
Walls was wanted on a preliminary charge of auto theft, a Level 6 felony.
In the case, investigated by LPD Detective Paul Clark, Walls allegedly took a vehicle without permission then left it in a motel parking lot. Police were able to recover the vehicle.
Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed.
She was scheduled to appear in Greene Superior Court for her initial hearing early Tuesday.
