Linton man airlifted after motorcycle v. deer accident
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department (GCSD) responded Saturday, Feb . 10 to an accident on State Road 59 after a 48-year-old Linton man struck a deer while traveling on his motorcycle.
According to a press release from the GCSD, Charles Robison was traveling south on State Road 59 near County Road 800 North when he struck a deer, causing him to leave the east side of the roadway. Robison was airlifted from the scene to an Indianapolis hospital by Air Evac 39.
The accident is being investigated by GCSD Deputy Devan Goad. Assistance was provided by GCSD Deputy Travis Hasler, Jasonville Police Department Officer Skylar Scott, Wright Township Fire Department, Jasonville Fire Department, Greene County Ambulance Service, and Air Evac 39.
