Huckleberry Hill owner arrested and booked in to Greene County Jail on Wednesday morning

The owner of Huckleberry Hill Winery in Bloomfield and the Huckleberry Hideout Restaurant and Winery in Linton was arrested and booked in to the Greene County Jail late yesterday morning, Wednesday, August 22.

Cheryl Ann Riddle, 53, Linton, was taken into custody on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of manufacturing alcoholic beverages without a permit, selling alcoholic beverages without a permit and three other felony and misdemeanor counts.

The warrant was issued as a result of an ongoing investigation by Indiana State Excise Police.

Riddle was booked in at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday. The arresting officer was Greene County Jail Commander Ken Conolty.

Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $400 cash, was released on bond, and given a court date.

Riddle is expected to appear in Greene Superior Court for her initial hearing on August 27.
