Greene County Clerk accepting applications for opening in Clerk's Office in the Courthouse

The Greene County Clerk is accepting applications with resumes for the full-time position of Second Deputy/Support Clerk, located in Bloomfield, Indiana, within the courthouse.  The duties include, but are not limited to, receiving & processing support payments, including receipting, printing, and mailing checks, as well as entering required information on the computer.    

Other duties include reading support orders, data entry, making needed changes in existing files, files cases for court, enters cause numbers, and schedules in the appropriate court; Takes care of all phone calls pertaining to support orders/payments, which includes calls from payees, payers, banks, and employers; Periodically types/mails letters as needed, such as correction of errors, stop payment notices, and voided/lost checks.

They also assist phone and counter customers in finding the information they need, as well as receives various payments mailed in or presented at the service counter.  Also performs related duties as assigned.
