INDIANAPOLIS – The Governor’s office issued a reminder today, Wednesday, December 19, that flags should still be at half-staff.

Governor Eric J. Holcomb directed flags across the state to be flown at half-staff to honor former President George H. W. Bush. Pursuant to U.S. Code (4 U.S.C. 7m), flags should be flown at half-staff for 30 days to honor a former President.

So flags should still be at half-staff but should return to full-staff on December 30.

According to the Governor’s Office, at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, December 30, the flags should be at full-staff once again.
