HENDRICKSVILLE - A 911 call made from a neighbor this morning (Tuesday, September 18) just after 8:30 a.m. sent Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies to 7048 N. State Road 43 to investigate a complaint of screaming and shots being fired from inside a residence.

After deputies arrived they discovered three deceased adults and then secured the scene.

DECEASED:

• Peggy J. Burks, 73 of Solsberry, (resident)

• Debra K. Floyd, 58 of Solsberry, (caregiver)

• Lawrence T. Burks, 71 of Solsberry

 Next of kin have been notified.

The investigation is ongoing and a motive has not yet been established.

Detectives discovered there was a Protective Order in place against Lawrence for Peggy and other court proceedings were underway.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department will not be releasing information regarding the weapon used and causes of death at this time.
