The Linton Water Department will being flushing hydrants on Oct. 27 and will continue until Oct. 31. The process will take place from 8 p.m. each night and will continue until 6 a.m. each following morning.

According to the Water Department, during the process customers may notice a discoloration of the water. It is recommended that clothes washing be kept to a minimum during these times as discolored water has been known to cause stains in white or light-colored clothing.
