Filings for the May Primary Election are rolling in at the Greene County Voter Registration Office with a deadline to file of Feb. 9

Those interested in filing a declaration of candidacy for the following positions should visit the Greene County Voter Registration Office, located in the Greene County Courthouse: 

• Circuit Court Judge

• Surveyor

• Treasurer

• Greene County Council, At-Large (three seats)

• Greene County Commissioners, District 1

• Greene County Commissioners, District 2

• Republican Precinct Committeemen

• State Convention Delegates

Thus far, filings include: 

• Surveyor - Edward Strong (R)

• Treasurer - Samantha Mahan  (R)

• Greene County Council At Large - Bryan Woodall (R)

• Greene County Commissioner, District 1 - Edward Michael (R)

• Greene County Commissioner, District 2 - Nathan Abrams (R)

• Grant Precinct Committeeman – Melonie Graves (R)

• Richland 2 Precinct Committeeman – Susan Brown (R)

• Richland 3 Precinct Committeeman - Stuart Dowden (R)
