Elsewhere: Video posted to social media leads to reckless driving charges

Indianapolis - The Indiana State Police began an investigation last November based on several tips received about a social media video showing a Lamborghini being driven recklessly on I-465 at 213 mph.

The video was uploaded November 18, 2020, and allegedly showed a black Lamborghini stop in the left lane of I-465 near the 9-mile marker. The vehicle then accelerated rapidly and the video showed the speedometer. The speedometer reached a speed of 213 miles per hour before the driver decelerated.

In the follow-up investigation, Indiana State Police crash reconstructionists were able to estimate the vehicle's speed at 198 miles per hour as it passed another vehicle.

Earlier this month, investigators turned over their findings to the Marion County Prosecutor's Office who, upon review of the case, filed reckless driving charges against 33 year old Gabriel Sleiman.
