Elsewhere: 36-Hour Manhunt ends with arrest in Orange County of two wanted subjects out of Dubois County

Orange County - On December 4th, 2020, the Dubois County Sheriffs Office completed an investigation into two separate burglaries involving a deadly weapon in Dubois County. As a result of that investigation, warrants were issued by the Dubois County Prosecutors Office for the two suspects.

 On December 28th, 2020, the Indiana State Police began an investigation into the whereabouts of the two suspects, Robert Knox (27) and Lili Robinette (18). During the  investigation, it was determined both subjects were a high risk to public safety. Indiana State Police, United States Marshal Service, and Orleans Police were tasked with apprehending the individuals.  

On December 29, 2020, at approximately 7:12 pm, Robert Knox was located, hiding in an outbuilding in Orleans. An Indiana State Police K-9 was utilized to assist in locating and apprehending Mr. Knox, who was taken into custody without incident.

Approximately one hour later Lili Robinette surrendered to authorities and was taken into custody by the State Police. Both subjects were transported and booked into the Dubois County Jail.
