Bloomfield under boil order; school providing bottled water to students
/The Town of Bloomfield is under a boil water order, according to a statement issued by Bloomfield School District Superintendent Dr. Scott Van Der Aa.
As a precaution, the school district will provide bottled water to all students and staff to ensure access to safe drinking water throughout the school day.
Bottled water will continue to be available until the boil water order is officially lifted.
"The health, safety, and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority," Van Der Aa said.
The district will continue monitoring the situation and taking necessary precautions while the order remains in effect.
Van Der Aa also thanked school employees for their flexibility and commitment to caring for students during the unexpected situation.
The district plans to provide families with additional updates as information becomes available.
The boil water order remains in effect until officials announce it has been lifted.
