Donald Forker, Jr., 35, Terre Haute, formerly of Linton, was wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants issued in early May. Forker was in custody at the Greene County Jail on Thursday, June 21, after being transferred in from the Vigo County Jail to face charges here.

One warrant is in a new case. Police allege that Forker, for several months, was traveling to Indianapolis to buy quantities of methamphetamine, then returning to Greene County to sell it for a profit.

When he appears in Greene Superior Court for an initial hearing, he will be charged with dealing in methamphetamine in an amount of 10 or more grams, a Level 2 felony, and two counts of dealing in methamphetamine in an amount between one and five grams, a Level 4 felony.

This is not the first time Forker has been accused of dealing drugs. In an overnight drug sting by the Greene County Drug Task Force and Linton and Jasonville Police Departments back in 2011, Forker and 12 other individuals were busted and Forker was convicted of dealing in a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a public park.

In the earlier drug sting case, Forker was sentenced in June of 2011 on a Class A felony to 15 years with three years suspended, leaving him 12 left to serve in the Indiana Department of Corrections. He served his time and with good time credit, was released in February of 2016. Since his release, he’s been serving a term of probation. But last December, the Greene County Probation Department filed a petition to revoke his suspended sentence and a warrant was issued for his arrest in this previous case.
