Walk-ins are welcome at the vaccination clinic open today (Friday, April 9) and tomorrow (Saturday, April 10) at the Greene County Events Center at the Fairgrounds. Clinic hours are 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. both days.

Earlier this week, the Greene County Health Department reported only eight percent of Greene County residents were fully vaccinated but 1,500 doses of the Moderna vaccine will be available at the Friday and Saturday clinic.

Appointments can be scheduled at ourshot.in.gov or by phone call to 211, or by visiting  https://vaccine.coronavirus.in.gov/ to select your eligibility status, enter your zip code, and select “Greene County HD Mass MVAX” as your location. Note: If you have an appointment already scheduled, you need to cancel the future appointment before you can schedule at this weekend’s clinic. 

Regarding eligibility, the Moderna vaccine is currently authorized by the FDA for ages 18 and older, so you must be at least 18 to get your shot at the weekend clinic.
