Fire hydrant flushing to begin in Linton
/The Linton Water Department will soon begin flushing fire hydrants, a process that will take four days to complete.
From Sunday, April 13 to Thursday, April 17, the department will be flushing fire hydrants. The flushing will begin nightly at 8 p.m. and continue until 6 a.m. the following morning.
During the flushing process, customers may notice a discoloration of the water. The water department recommends that clothes washing be limited during these times as discolored water has been known to cause stains in white or light-colored clothing.
