James Edward Prow, 74, of Solsberry, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at his residence. Born March 6, 1950 in Bloomington, he was the son of James Donald and Flora Irene (Eads) Prow.

He worked at IU Health Bloomington Hospital for 36 years in the Psych Unit. He was a member at Liberty Church of Christ in Hendricksville, Greene County Historical Society past President and the Hendricksville Area Association where he was also a past President.

Surviving relatives include: his friend, Dan Harris; one brother, Donald Otto Prow; a nephew, Jared Prow (Susan); niece, Alison Prow; one great nephew, Jakob Silvers and a great niece, Lilly Grace Prow.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn Delores Prow, sister-in-law, Fredricka Darleen Prow and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the Hendricksville Area Association Building, with Pastor Danny Hillenberg and Pastor Justin Raines officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Hendricksville.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Hendricksville Area Association Building, 8866 State Road 43 Solsberry, Indiana 47459. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Hendricksville Area Association High School Scholarship Funds.
