Greene County Jail Log

New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024:

Oct. 25, 10:14 p.m., John Darrell Michael, 43, Vincennes, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle, interfering with public safety, refusal to aid an officer, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful carrying of a handgun with a prior conviction within 15 years, possession of methamphetamine, identify deception, and possession of paraphernalia. He was also arrested on warrants from other counties for failure to appear, probation violation, escape, failure to appear, and resisting law enforcement using a vehicle. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer. 

Oct. 26, 7:09 p.m., Noah Jackson Woodward, 25, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating with a controlled substance in the body, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia, possession of a Schedule II, III, IV substance, operating a vehicle while intoxicated—endangerment. His bond was set at $5,000 with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $500. 

Oct. 27, 1:30 a.m., Destin Lee Hambrick, 28, Lima, NY, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. No bond was allowed. Bloomfield Police Department Officer Jordan Brant was the arresting officer. 

Oct. 27, 10:50 a.m., Kenneth Wayne Rippy, 64, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed. 

Oct. 27, 11:26 p.m., Kelly Irene Wilson, 41, homeless, was arrested on a preliminary charge of interfering with public safety. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. On that warrant, no bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Jerrad Pirtle was the arresting officer. 

Oct. 28, 1:26 a.m., Nathan Warren Parsley, 31, Newberry, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Andrew Shelton was the arresting officer.
